What we collect

• Video captions (transient). When you click Summarize, the extension reads the captions of the video you are watching and sends the text to our API to generate the summary. Caption text is never stored — it is processed and discarded.
• Anonymous device identifier. A random ID stored locally in your browser so we can enforce the free daily quota without asking you to create an account.
• Email address (optional). Only if you provide it for the referral program, or if you purchase Pro (the payment processor shares the email used at checkout so we can deliver your receipt/welcome email).
• Referral data (if you participate). Your invite code, the binding between two device IDs, and reward records, so rewards can be granted fairly and only once per friend.

What we never do

• We do not collect your browsing history. The extension only activates on YouTube video pages.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not require an account or personal information to use the free tier.

AI processing

Summaries are generated by Cloudflare Workers AI, which processes caption text within Cloudflare's network. We do not use your content to train models.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled by Dodo Payments. Dodo processes your card and billing; we only receive a confirmation that your plan is active. Card numbers are never sent to or stored by our backend.

Data deletion

Email support@labkitpro.com from the address associated with your plan and we will delete your record. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data automatically.
